So you are new in steemit and have many question in mind however you read multiple article about steemit but still don't know the exact way to grow and be a whale in steemit. Don't worry I will help you just follow below steps
1. Make quality content: yes my friend you have to make quality post here for long run do not rush for quick money and don't paste any crap here, be original, creative and keep improving your writing and blogging skill rather then focusing on money making shortcuts. At first you can start with small post but make sure it have something valuable. Believe me if you will post quality content here you will get real and permanent success.
2. Be constant and active: Try to be constant and regular in your post and comments. Make some active friends by regular commenting, upvoting and following them and after sometime they will do the same. Always reply to every comment on your post and also make some good comment on commentator's or followers post. This will help you to get regular and valuable audience for your every post. Do not leave your account inactive for long time It is harmful for your followings as well as your earnings.

Do 10 upvote a day with 100% vote power (After every 144 minute)

4. Use Discord app: discord project support minnow/newbies to grow. it will help you to interact with active steemian and give a chance to upvote and resteem your post on there feed. here is the detail

5. check power on steemnow.com: Open steemnow.com and put your steem id on right top corner under setting tab & click save and you will get the full detail of your current steem power and used steem power.
