Greetings Grapplers and welcome to the ongoing saga that is the White Belt Curriculum at our BJJ academy. I am proud of the lineage, the curriculum that is standard at all of our affiliated schools, and the fact that Ryan is sharing it with the world so I can immortalize it in the STEEM blockchain.
This will show you what goes on in a White belt class so you can see it isn't scary and you should start to train, or you can fill in some holes if you already train.
Today we cover the technique of the "S" Mount which will augment your full mount game.
Personal take-aways/perspective
- Great universal advice to begin the lesson - Think before you speak!
- I had a tough time with that solid collar grip until I caught the detail to rise up an inch and shake the shit out of it to loosen it a bit
- That switch to the far side arm is slick and looks neat when someone is watching or it is done to you.
- Smooth AND Nasty is a great mindset when you are not with your adopted white Belt
