Today's church got the children thinking, it is really the first time that they understood the importance of the reason why Jesus had died for us.
They went home and decided it is the right time to go to their forest and see some of the things that they had to be thankful for.
They packed a basket as they did not want to bother Luan’s mother who was very busy with the twins. They then went to their favourite spot and decided it was time to explore a little further.
We love this spot but we never go any deeper, maybe if we go a little further we will find some animals or flowers we have not seen before.
That is a wonderful idea we must just keep our way well marked so that we do not get lost, and if our parents come looking for us they will see and they can follow our trail.
That is very clever how, will we do that?
I always have red ribbon in the basket as my mother has said if I ever go from where I normally stay, I must put some red ribbon on the trees for her to follow, and when I come back I must take it off again.
Ok let us go they started walking through the stream and as far as they went they marked their trail.
Suddenly they saw the most beautiful tree they had ever seen and were really stunned as it looked different from the rest of the trees.
Jared said it looks like a big mushroom don’t you think and they both laughed because it did look like that to them. Luan joked and said I hope we do not come across and enormous fairies, as I have heard they live in mushrooms.
The boys laughed because of all the silly things they were saying. They took a picture of it as they wanted to go and look on the internet what kind of tree it was.
The computer has taught them a lot since Luan got it and it was really fun. They walked a little further and found an acorn tree, they could not believe it.
There were squirrels all over.
Some were eating acorns.
They then realised they have found two new things they had not seen before in the forest and they were so happy.
They picked some wild flowers for Luan’s mother to give to her and tell her all about the wonderful things they had seen.
They took all the red ribbons down while walking back, and put them in the basket.
They ate the food they had made themselves and then they went home.
Luan’s mother was so pleased with her flowers, and hugged them both.
You are such wonderful children, tell me all about what you found as the twins are now sleeping and I would love the hear.
Hope you enjoyed my story. Have a wonderful day here from me and may all be blessed.
