Relating Area of a Rectangle to its Side Lengths
Area of a rectangle is the function of its side lengths. In elementary grades kids get to know that to find area of any rectangle we need to know its side lengths. Then we multiply the side lengths to find the area in square units.
Today's activities are based on relating side lengths of a rectangle to its area. It is very important that kids do such activities in the classrooms and home to get a good grasp of the concept.
