Finding Greater and Smaller Numbers From a Given Number
In this post we will practice writing numbers which are greater or smaller than a given number.
For example; write a number which is 1 greater than 435. The answer is 436. Now write a number which is 10 greater than 435. The answer is 445. Similarly we can write a number which is 10 less than 435 and the answer will be 425.
Kids, who know the concept of place value, can do very well on this key number sense skill. This is all about adding 1 to ones place, tens place or hundreds place.
Below are the four worksheets on the concept. Each worksheet has larger-than and less-than concepts side by side. Please do all of them.
