Multiplying Two-Digit Number with One-Digit Number Worksheets
Let's go one step further in multiplication, we will discuss multiplying two-digit number with one-digit number.
As you know that a two-digit number got two place values, digit at right is ONES place and Digit at left is TENS place. For example; in 56 we have 6 ones and 5 tens.
While multiplying a two-digit number with a one-digit number, multiply ONES first and write your answer below (if you got a two digit number as the answer then just write the ones digit and carry forward the tens digit to the next column). Then multiply the TENS to finish the multiplication process (don't forget to add the carry forwarded digit if you have one).
