I am blogging about women specific topics lately. And in previous post I covered how to bring more women into the STEEM blockchain.
While bringing more women into STEEM blockchain I have noticed that some female users want to keep the identity from going public. I think we all have to respect that. I personally have husband working for government and for this reason I don't want to publicly post my selfies and the family photos. However I have noticed that more privacy also means less reach. People like and share content of those who are more social and seen. And that means many female users may not be able to get their opinion heard over the network.

So here are some of the privacy related concerns of women in cryptocurrency.
1. Identity
By posting images on STEEM or any social network, your identify is public. And you have both benefit and losses through that. Depending on how you wish to handle that you may or may not like to open your identity on cryptocurrency based social networks.
2. Reach
We often see more reach happens only when someone shows their personal photo and the identity. And this is something that needs to be changed. Not all male users show their identity yet they get to reach larger userbase. So reaching more people without having to socially identify on network is one thing to focus on.
3. Connection
It can be really hard to connect when we are anonymous. Be it discord server or the STEEM network. You can see that people with anonymous profiles are less likely to have connection. And for this reason they are forced to public their identity. I wish we can change that and make it easier to connect with each other.
These are some of my concerns about women who want to have privacy and not make their personal identity and information public for the exchange of cryptocurrency.
Your views and the guidance on this topic is much appreciated.
