... at the last push ... this is my entry to the Steemit-Iron Chef 2017 #05 created by @progressivechef. The ingredient of the week is a pear - a wonderful, delicious sweet fruit. The first thing I thought of of course was a dessert or a cake but I changed my mind. The second thought was: pears and cheese! - Oops, I don't eat cheese anymore! But that thought led me to the next thing: Flammkuchen! Tarte flambee!!
I would make Tarte flambee with four different toppings.
The dough is made of wheat wholemeal and spelt flour, some salt and warm water.
The "sour cream" is made of silken tofu, soy cream cheese, and almond cream cheese, some apple cider vinegar, lemon juice and a pinch of salt.
And here is the finish ...
The first topping is made of onions, fried smoked tofu, slices of pears and bay leaves.
The ingredients for the second topping are sweet potatoes, shallots, pears and peperonis and some fresh radicchio after baking.
For the third tarte I took slices of hokaido pumkin, pears, pine nuts, pomegranate seeds and thyme.
The fourth tarte would be the dessert topped with caramalized pears, walnuts and rosemary.
I baked the Glorious Four for 15 Minutes. In the time between I made a refreshing salad to accompany the tartes.

But the food for the challenge has an extra kick! I hope every participant had as much fun as I had. ☀️
