Scenario A: When BTC is on uptrend, Alts may lag a bit and will try to consolidate, there are time they may have a correction.
Scenario B: When Bitcoin is on sideways, Alts are pumping.
Scenario C: When BTC goes down, Alts dump hard.
Scenario D: When bitcoin dump or pump on a define trend/area of consolidation, Alts pump to the moon.
STRATEGY
Simple Scaling IN when the market is going down, and Scaling OUT, when the market is in parabolic.
