SteemKitchen Contest #2 - Cheap and Cheerful

Hello Steemers, with this dish I want to compete and win the # 2 contest of @steemkitchen. This is a typical dish from the eastern region of Venezuela, from Boca de Uchire in Anzoátegui to the paria peninsula in Sucre state, passing through all the beaches of Nueva Esparta state.

The ingredients needed to make this delicious dish are

Ingredients:

200 gr x Shrimp (VES 80 = $ 0.35)
2 x Topochos (VES 55 = $ 0.22)
250 ml x Corn oil (VES 110 = $ 0.44)
8 x Cloves garlic crushed (VES 60 = $ 0.24)
4 x Tbs Mayonnaise (almost VES 40 = $ 0.16)
2 x Ketchup Tbs (almost VES 25 = $ 0.11)
1 x tsp Lemon juice (VES 1 = $ 0.002)
Salt to taste (almost VES 5 = $ 0.02)

Spices

1 x tbs Cumin (VES 2 = $ 0.004)
2 x tsp black pepper (VES 10 = $ 0.04)

Step By Step :
We take two topochos and peel them.

We cut them into wheels approximately 2 centimeters thick.

Once cut, preheat the oil and pour our wheels.

When they are beginning to brown, remove and crush with the bottom of a jar of mayonnaise, add salt and again to the oil until golden brown.

At the same time, we take our shrimp and season them with cumin, lemon, salt and pepper. (The shrimp are previously washed and have no traces of the vein in the back.)
Let marinate for 20 minutes or the time it takes to make the tostones.

In a pan, pour a little oil and 6 finely chopped garlic cloves. When the garlic is cooked, add the shrimp.
Cook over high heat for 8 minutes, 4 minutes per side and remove from heat.

We in the east of the country used to eat tostones with mayonnaise, ketchup and grated white cheese. But this time we prepare a pink sauce with garlic.
