The last time I went to the grocery store, I discovered a super big hokkaido pumpkin from organic farming. For only a price of 1.50 EUR (2.11STEEM) it was immediately clear that I have to take this awesome piece with me.

Beim letzten Einkauf im Lebensmittelladen habe ich einen supergroßen Bio Hokkaido Kürbis entdeckt. Für nur einen Preis von 1,50EUR (2,11STEEM) war sofort klar, dass ich dieses großartige Teil mitnehmen muss.

By the way... the hokkaido pumpkin is ideal for fans of low-carb-food:
In 100 g, namely only about 5 g of carbohydrates are included.

But talked enough ;-) Let's now prepare this wonderful vegetable.
For a big plate of luscious pumpkin-wedges you only need the few following ingredients:
-1x hokkaido pumpkin
-about 3x stems of thyme
-a handful of rosemary (fresh or dried)
-salt, pepper and cayenne pepper
-olive oil
The rosemary and thyme will add a fine aromatic and fresh note. And the spices bring in a nice pep.

Im Übrigen... ist der hokkaido Kürbis ideal für Fans der Low-Carb-Kost:
In 100 g sind nämlich nur etwa 5 g Kohlenhydrate enthalten.
Des Weiteren... steckt auch sehr viel Vitamin A in diesem Prachtstück:
Dies ist gut für die Sehkraft und es fördert eine gesunde und schöne Haut.
Aber genug geredet ;-) lasst uns jetzt dieses wundervolle Gemüse zubereiten.
Für eine große Platte mit köstlichen Kürbis-Wedges benötigt ihr nur wenige folgende Zutaten:
-1x Hokkaido Kürbis
-etwa 3x Stängel Thymian
-Eine Handvoll Rosmarin (frisch oder getrocknet)
-Salz, Pfeffer und Cayenne Pfeffer
-Olivenöl
Der Rosmarin und der Thymian werden eine herrliche aromatische und frische Note beitragen. Und die Gewürze bringen einen schönen Pepp rein.

🔍A little info by side. The Hokkaido pumpkin comes originally from Japan, where it has been growing since the end of the 19th century on a small Japanese island called Hokkaido.

Da wir jetzt die Zutaten kennen, können wir auch sofort loskochen :-)
Im ersten Schritt muss der Kürbis gut gewaschen, getrocknet und halbiert werden. Nehmt dafür ein großes und scharfes Messer, die Haut ist manchmal etwas zäher.
🔍 Noch eine kleine Info am Rande. Der Hokkaido-Kürbis kommt ursprünglichen aus Japan, dort wächst er seit dem Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts auf einer kleinen japanischen Insel namens Hokkaido.

Im nächste Schritt sollten die Kürbiskerne und das Fruchtfleisch entfernt werden. Das geht am Besten mit einem großen Löffel.
Die Kerne könnt ihr auch aufbewahren, daraus lässt sich ein leckerer Snack zubereiten, oder zum Neupflanzen benutzen.

Danach schneidet ihr den Kürbis in Scheiben. Die Haut braucht nicht geschälft werden. Sie enthält sogar die meißten Vitamine und wird beim Backen schön weich.
Auch der Thymian und der Rosmarin sollte nun klein geschnitten werden.

Thymian und Rosmarin enthalten gesunde ätherische Öle, welche den Kreislauf ankurbeln.

In the last step you distribute all pumpkin slices on a baking sheet. These are then doused with a little bit olive oil, seasoned with the spices and sprinkled with the herbs.
Now everything should bake at 180 ° for about 20-25 minutes.

Im letzten Schritt verteilt ihr nun alle Kürbisscheiben auf einem Backblech. Diese werden dann mit ein bisschen Olivenöl übergossen, mit den Gewürzen gewürzt und mit den Kräutern bestreut.
