The program we have set up here for @spinvest's LEO tribe involvement has far exceeded my expectations. We now have over 35,000 LEO delegated to us, and sent out the first SPI mining rewards a few days ago.

If you haven't heard of this part of @spinvest before, basically we earn curation rewards in LEO tokens via LEO delegated to us. Those that delegate earn SPI tokens passively in return. The profits after purchasing the SPI are powered up to build our asset base for the long run. LEO tribe overall wins with a solid stake vote following the official curation trails of SteemLeo, content creators win from higher rewards for quality curated content, Delegators win by earning passive SPI tokens, SPI holders win from a growing owned stake adding to the SPI overall asset pool and exposure to the most dynamic and forward thinking tribe on Steem.
The other important thing to note is that you don't have to have any current involvement or investment in Spinvest to be involved. This week, we received our first delegation from outside the current list of SPI hodlers. It is possible to build a stake in a long term STEEM POWERED investment (SPI tokens) without ever having to purchase any.
Announcement 1:
SPI token mining payouts will now be issued weekly, instead of monthly. Thats right, every week you could earn SPI tokens without having to buy them, just by delegating some LEO tokens to @spinvest-leo.
Announcement 2:
The mining payout rate (previously 1 SPI per 500 LEO delegated per month) is being doubled, effective immediately. So, the new calculation is 1 SPI per 1000 LEO delegated PER WEEK!!! This means, you will earn twice as many SPI. Important to note that you don't have to delegate 1000 to qualify, any amount is appreciated. Token reward will be issued rounded to 2 decimal places.
These upgrades are possible thanks to the strong results we are getting, and the strength of the LEO tokens generally. To purchase these mining rewards, I will be selling approximately half the LEO tokens we earn. The other half (roughly) get powered up to grow our assets.
Please note, this calculation and mining rate is subject to change, notably if the price of LEO drops significantly.
