The higher the expectation the bigger the disappointment I guess. XD
Last season, the highest rank/league I reached was Gold I and even almost made it to the lower Diamond leagues too after being surprisingly matched up against players with summoners NOT at level 5-6 three days before the last season ended. Unfortunately after that day I was again beaten up with players with summoners at level 6 so didn't really manage to climb to the Diamond leagues.
Anyway, that means I received 30 reward edition cards as season rewards. I was really looking forward to this for days but after seeing my rewards I was frankly a little disappointed.
If I didn't buy those potions, the above rewards would have been really good. 2 Epic cards and 1 Common Gold card (would have been awesome if this was a rare gold card right?) is already a sure 1350DEC or around $1. Not to mention that this draw might have been the first time where I saw this many rare cards (again would have been nice if I saw one rare gold LOL) but still since I have those potions my expectation did really went high so I ended up being a little disappointed after seeing no legendaries and only a common gold. T_T
I still have 181 charges left though and so far the only good card that I got was a golden epic weeks ago . I honestly didn't see an increase in the drop rate of gold cards and it might have dropped the drop rate instead of increasing it. XD As for legendaries, I only got 2 out of 319 draws. Before I purchased the potions I would have gotten at least 1 or two legendary every two weeks so either the legendary potion is not really working or the print rate is now in the very lows that there is no noticeable difference in the drop rate anymore. XD
Having said all that, I still love this game. XD The rewards that I get and being matched up against very strong opponents is indeed very distressing but at least I am still gaining some $$$ from playing it unlike the other games I am currently playing.
