Steem Monsters: Future of Blockchain Gaming

My Introduction

Hello Everyone,
I'm Dayyan Khan (@khan.dayyanz), an engineering student from Pakistan. Just joined the steem community a few months back. Before that, I have heard about bitcoin and mining but wasn't an interest to me. A friend of mine Numan Butt (@numanbutt) was blogging on steem it and had invested in steem, persuaded me to look into it and I was convinced to join the platform. The week I joined the platform, Hard Fork 20 was introduced, and I had a very rough week going on and was going to quit. But there were some good people I found here who supported me in the hard time with some SP delegation (@novacadian) Then I also got 100 SP from @llfarms which I had no idea how I was able to get but Thanks To these people who are making the platform great and supporting the minnows. Then I was also able to buy a few Steem about 170, and I was able to get a decent touch on the platform.

The amount I bought, I invested some of it in a recent Blockchain Game called Steem Monsters (@steemmonsters). Around 1 week was left in season 1 and I was able to get some head start and it was addicting that I invested all of my liquid steem in the game which was worth it.

Steem Monsters Introduction

Steem Monsters is a collectable card game built in the heart of steem blockchain. You can trade, sell, collect cards. You can do Battles and play tournaments. You can Earn crypto. Make stories about the Splinter Land ( Great Ideas by @aggroed, the Steem Monsters Founder). Its really cool stuff, do check out @steemmonsters).

To Start Playing game, You will need a 10$ starter pack. It will contain 30 cards which will be helpful in getting you the taste of the game. You can also buy booster packs which can contain legendary and gold cards which are very rare and worth from a few dollars to hundreds of dollars.

Steem Monsters Tournaments

One of the key features of the game are Tournaments where if you do great, you will be awarded with crypto. I have been also hosting tournaments for Steem Monsters until the automated system is introduced. All the tournaments are free to participate and are sponsored by @steemmonsters.

In total 15 teams registered for the tournament and 12 of them actually participated. Each Team consists of 3 members ( each for Bronze, silver and gold level). 6 Rounds were played by each team and here are the results.
