It's September, and Australia is fast approaching that time of year when everyone goes Football Crazy. The Grand Final. It's almost an Aussie tradition to either host or attend a Grand Final day BBQ, and enter a Grand Final sweep.
This year, I'm bringing the sweep to Steemit, but with a Steem Monsters twist.
Here's how it works.
There are a total of 25 places available in the sweep.
Each place will receive 1 player from each of the two teams that are competing in the final, plus four possible final score margins (these will be spread so that everyone gets a margin between 1-25, 26-50, 51-75 & 76-100)
Prizes are paid out for the player who kicks the first goal in each quarter, the player awared the Norm Smith Medal, and the final margin.
As there are only 22 players on each team, 3 "emergencies" will also be included. To keep things as fair as possible, these emergency players who are unlikely to take the field, are seeded with the top 3 Norm Smith chances from each of the two teams (top 3 determined by odds on Sportsbet).
How do you enter?
There is an entry fee of 10 common ALPHA RELEASE Steem Monsters cards, which will give a total prize pool of 250 common cards. The cards are transferred to myself, and I will publish a list of all the cards in the pool. Once you have transferred your entry fee, let me know by leaving a comment below. Any Beta Release cards that are sent will be deemed to be a donation to myself for being awesome and will not be returned, nor added to the prize pool.
Entries are limited to two per person, just to give as many people as possible a chance to enter.
Once final teams are selected, I will create a new post where entrants are advised who they have drawn in the sweep.

1st Goal Kicker Q1 - 30 Cards
1st Goal Kicker Q2 - 30 Cards
1st Goal Kicker Q3 - 30 Cards
1st Goal Kicker Q4 - 30 Cards
Norm Smith Medalist - 65 Cards
Final Margin - 65 Cards
Prizes will be transferred within 48 hours of the match ending
