The Daily daily has started with a slight delay into the new year of 2020, and the Earth Splinter quest is the first one I get to complete within this new personal chapter of Splinterlands.
As expected, the games went mixed, as I was caught up in the "rank-up-train" for some time and I faced some higher-level opponents during my way up the ranks...

As I was reset to Silver 2 and I am still on my way up, I get 3 picks as a reward today:

This does not seem very rewarding and does also not feel like a motivating start into the new year of Splinterlands, but there is nothing I can do about it right now except for climbing the ranks some more, so I can get more cards tomorrow...
