Exciting news! Steem Ocean, the stats site and home of the Voter Ranking Index for Steem now has it's own profile on Steem! Not only that, we have a new blog site that's synced up to Steem too!
The intention for Steem Ocean is to provide useful tools, data and rare insights into the activity on the Steem blockchain. If there's an unusual angle to be revealed, we want to be exposing it and if there's a way to increase your ability to enjoy Steem and maybe profit too - then we endeavor to find it!
A New Account For Steem Ocean
In the past, posts for Steem Ocean have been made via @ura-soul's account, but it makes more sense to separate his own posts from the strictly Steem related posts from Steem Ocean - so that's why we now have the @steem-ocean account on Steem. If you like Steem Ocean material, data and information then be sure to follow us as we help answer tricky questions about Steem, it's past, present and future!
Steem Ocean Undercurrents
Thanks to the latest update from the Steempress team, we are now able to produce websites using Wordpress that are integrated in with Steem! Yay! I suggested this idea years ago and I am so glad that it is now coming to reality. Now visitors to Wordpress blogs can sign up to Steem directly from the blog and also comment and get rewarded there too! Existing users can comment on the blogs via SteemConnect - so everyone is happy!
I see this is a really great way to expand Steem's userbase and also to greatly increase the number of sites that support Steem too. Let's get creative!
In celebration of SteemPress's hard work, I have created a new site that's currently at https://blog.steemocean.com that will serve as a hub for posts full of insights and data gathered via the tools at Steem Ocean and also one-off dives into the blockchain to retrieve precious information!
We'll be testing out the new Steem Press features here too - so if you have any feedback about how the site connects up to Steem then don't forget to let the Steem Press team know.
