If you have viewed any of the recent Steem Ocean posts on the Steem Ocean Undercurrents website, you may have noticed that there is both a commenting/upvoting area for Steem, but also an upvote button for a new system called Like-Coin.
Like-Coin is a new way of rewarding content you like on the web, that is independent of Steem or any other system/network. It looks to maybe be a great way to reward creators, not just for their own, original content but also when their work is remixed by others further down the chain.
We are just testing the Like Coin button out here, but if you happen to have an account with Like Coin please give us a like here and maybe we'll collectively grow it to a new standard for the web. Alternatively, we may learn from it and integrate any great features into future revisions of Steem or maybe a new Steem based app!
