The Voter Rank is designed to let us know who is being generous or perhaps altruistic with their Steem Power. We calculate how many accounts that every single active voter has voted for and also look at other metrics, such as the percentage of self-voting by each account and also how many SBDs the account has caused to be paid to other accounts. A massive amount of data is processed (currently every 2 days) to produce an overall rank for data spanning 5 days. Obvious bots are removed, so that we are left with insights into which accounts are supporting other users on the blockchain directly via their voting patterns and which are not.
Note: Just because someone is high or low in the Voter Rank does not automatically mean they are helping or hindering Steem - there are many other ways that people can be helping the blockchain that cannot be measured by the Voter Index.. However, it is a fun way to learn about the many people we meet in the community here.
Data is based on voting activity of 61515 users. Data period: 22-10-2018 - 27-10-2018.
