The Walk of Hope Project
Welcome to the city of Bayawan Negros Oriental! Let me introduce to you the " Walk of Hope project " initiated by @flabbergast-art and supported by @steemph most especially by lola @immarojas. The ongoing advocacy of the team which is to promote indigenous art, music and culture to the youth including the community.
@flabbergast-art started his project here in province of Negros which is our part to support him as well being a member of @steemphnegros.
This is the 7th day workshop of summer cultivating activity for the youth of Bayawan City in the province of Negros.
@flabbergast-art is continually doing his project to spread his advocacy to enrich youth lives. By means of learning art, playing different instruments and sharing some culture history.
The purpose of this project initiated by @flabbergast-art is circulating in different places here in the Philippines.
It just so happen that the first event of the project is happening right now in Bayawan City.
In collaboration with Bayaw-ani team and one of the member is Tatay Dagsa. Where the venue of the ongoing summer workshop activity is in Tatay Dagsa's place. Located within the city proper in front of the city boulevard.
From the previous days this activity is moving by sequence from basic sketching, then using of coloring materials, and now changing of subject.
As what you can see on the ff. images they used human as their new subject. Which is difficult to make a portrait if you don't posses gifted hands. Even I can testify that it is not easy to draw human torso compare to simple objects that used as subject for drawing.
But these set of kids already learned the proper way of sketching by the help of @flabbergast-art and the rest of the team.
The project is not only about making an art, because the team are not only focusing on single pace. Sometimes they have different activity on the same day.
Summer art cultivating workshop in the morning and Musical activity at the Amphitheatre in the evening.
Imagine how dedicated and determined is @flabbergast-art to his advocacy. Not only that in terms of financial support most of the expenses are coming from his own pocket and also by the help of @steemph community most especially to lola @immarojas.
As of now @steemph is very active in helping this advocacy of @flabbergast-art.
By means of financial support and spreading his accomplishment to the community.
They also gathered support from different individuals who are willing to offer for help.
Because the purpose of this project is for the benefit of the youth and not for any personal interest.
