My steemit journey is possibly a lot like yours. You may have read some how to steemit guides or tips about steemit and started finding content you liked and up voting it and maybe commenting and following folks. Over a few weeks or months you have some followers and you see the hot and trending sections.
You see youtube video after youtube video of people making a ton of money from steemit. You think to yourself, "The reason I'm not doing as well is because they got in early probably." You might see some more recent videos of folks that just got in that are blowing up the stats also. Many of these folks will tell you they had a big following already from other social media and their blended efforts are magically propelling them to the top. Some people will tell you that you just need to write better content. Which this is always a true statement. We should all be trying to write better and better content. There are a ton of guides that can help you out with this for sure. Many will be honest and flat out say, "I invested a lot of money in steem and then converted that into Steem Power and this is how I am able to generate large amounts of money from my post and curations."
Growing from nothing is going to be an absolute grind. Steemit is not a get rich quick scheme. You need to have some or multiple of the above variables if you want to start earning any serious earnings from steemit or just grind it out and grow it slow over time. Which I think most are grinding it out and growing slow and steady over time. What if there were some other ways to help. Some.... almost secret ways that no one will even mention that is giving some a mega advantage.
When I first arrived I noticed some people had a ton of up vote bots pinging there posts. I think this is highly frowned upon by the community as a whole. Using some bots to help yourself get a post going or helping someone else; because you don't have enough $ weight to really benefit anyone with an upvote when you are just starting out but the bots do, and most think that this is acceptable. The bots are helping to level the playing field a little. I have seen several posts that deserved more than the 0.02 cents they got but no one voted them up. The bots can solve the problem that exists here if used correctly. I wrote an article about it here. https://steemit.com/upvote/@binkley/my-favorite-steemit-upvote-bots
How To Get Delegated Steem Power On Steemit
The other thing I noticed was that many people had large amounts of delegated steem power on steemit. Some of the accounts were juiced up a lot. Many of the upvotes were from juiced accounts. Perhaps they were delegating some steem power to a lot of friends to effectively change their upvote weight which keeps their posts on the front page of steemit or at least in the top of their category. This in turns causes a lot of organic up votes because of the emotional response that is contagious in social media. Plus the curation platform is coded to reward you for getting in on something that is booming. None of this is a bad thing at all. Don't think I'm complaining because I'm not. I'm simply trying to figure out how to be a part of the elites. It is where I find myself often in life.
The trick is to get a ton of delegated steem power on steemit.
The answer to the question, "How To Get Delegated Steem Power On Steemit?" Is a million maybe multi million dollar question. I see many businesses sprouting up that appear to be helping and some do not even realize they are in a business but just copying others that are in a business. They are in a well marketed business that is disguised solely as a help aid for beginners. Which again there is nothing wrong with this and I am not complaining at all. I love to see businesses spin off of existing businesses. It is so innovative and you know some of the greatest minds are all in one place....#steemit... I'm confident in the viability of the platform because of all of the innovations and business developments.
I'm seeing several lease models that I'm sure are profitable to some extent. These lease models allow minnows or noobs to lease steem power to be used on the steem it platform for a given amount of time. The only problem is that the person leasing better have a solid game plan together and understand this page (https://steemit.com/steem-help/@biophil/voting-power-the-complete-definitive-and-yes-ultimate-guide-updated-again ) thoroughly before leasing or risk losing their investment. An auto voter is strongly suggest if one is going to lease steem power. How to get delegated steempower on steemit?
Is there a group that gives it out to individuals that are wanting to do good within the community? If so I have not found it. I have asked on every chat service available and looked and searched google from top to bottom and have yet to find how to get delegated steem power on steemit. One article I did find talked about how developers were able to delegate steem power but not average steemians and so they thought it was an unfair advantage but no one is talking about how to get delegated steem power for minnows or new folks at all. I have to disagree that it is an unfair advantage. It is fair these folks worked hard and have the skills to write the code to delegate steem power so they should and earn from it in my opinion.
