So you're cranking out content left and right, but are finding it hard to gain traction...

If you are like me then you love seeing rewards come from your content, it's nice to feel appreciated. But wouldn't it be better if you knew exactly how much Steem Power you needed to aquire in order to earn a decent amount of money while writing about things you love?

Definitions

Steem Power : Influence tokens which give you more control over post payouts and allow you to earn on curation rewards.

Steem Dollars : Tokens worth about $1.00 of STEEM, currently collecting 0% APR.

Steem : Tradeable tokens that may be transferred anywhere at anytime.
Steem can be converted to STEEM POWER in a process called powering up.

Powering Up: The process of turning on your Steem Power in order to earn more from curation

Curation: Upvoting content that you find valuable

Curation Rewards: Rewards distributed for the community upvoting valuable content.

How Voting Works

When you upvote a post, the author of the content is rewarded a certain amount of steem dollars and steem power. As an author you can change the settings underneath the tags form to ( Power up 100%, Default 50%/50%, and Decline Rewards ) These rewards are distributed when the post is paid out, usually in 7days from it's creation date.
