Desi girl Priyanka Chopra and American singer Nick Jonas have been married for over 2 months, but talks about their fairytale wedding is still on. The couple got hitched in a three-day event at Jodhpur's Umaid Bhawan Palace from 30th November to 2nd December. The two tied the knot according to both, Christian and Hindu rituals, followed by two wedding receptions. The couple hosted their wedding recption one in Delhi which was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and another one in Mumbai which was attended by all the Bollywood stars.
Parineeti Chopra too was very much excited for her sister's wedding and after Nick and Priyanka’s engagement, she started discussion with Nick about the tradition of ‘Joota Churana’ rasam. It is a tradition, where sister of bride hide the shoes of groom and the groom has to cough up amount quoted by the sister-in-law to get them back.
Earlier reports claimed that Parineeti had demanded UDS 5 million from Nick, to which Nick had said he is willing to give her 10 dollars.

But, now comes out the real story about what Nick actually gave PeeCee’s sisters. On a recent episode of chat show “BFFs With Vogue”, hosted by Neha Dhupia, the 30-year-old Parineeti revealed that when the bridesmaids asked Nick Jonas for the shagun in exchange of his wedding shoes during joota chhupai, he signalled to his groomsmen, who brought out an array of diamond rings, which also included actor Sophie Turner, businesswoman Isha Ambani and Salman Khan’s sister Arpita Khan Sharma. “He is the best,” Pari said about Nick.
Currently, Priyanka and Nick are in the US, where Nick’s parents hosted a special reception for the newlyweds in Charlotte, North Carolina. Priyanka’s mother and brother attend the reception and the actress even shared the pictures from the same and thanked in parents-in-law for the celebration.

On the professional front, Parineeti was last seen with Arjun Kapoor in “Namaste England”. She will next star opposite Sidharth Malhotra in “Jabariya Jodi”, which also features Aparshakti Khurana, Sanjay Mishra, Javed Jaffrey and Chandan Roy Sanyal in important roles.
Talking about Priyanka Chopra, her upcoming movie "The Sky Is Pink" is releasing opposite Farhan Akhtar, directed by Shonali Bose.
