Can Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas get anymore adorable? Recently, Nick Jonas was at ‘The Tonight Show’ hosted by Jimmy Fallon where he spoke about his Indian engagement to the global star Priyanka Chopra and revealed her favourite ‘nickname’ for the them to the audiences.
First, Nick Jonas started talking about how they ‘connected’. "We starting talking for a while and it was about six months before we met up in person," Nick explained. According to Nick Jonas, he and Priyanka met each other at the infamous MET Gala as friends, but had a great time.
Nick Jonas further revealed while the world was absolutely sure that they were together, in fact, he and Priyanka were just friends and that love blossomed between them just five months ago.
"Our lives were kind of taking us in different places," he said. "The thing that is funny, people asked us... 'Are you guys seeing each other?' And the answer was no. And people thought we were being coy, and so did we, until we cut to now [and] we’re engaged, so the story sort of wrote itself."
Summer romance, indeed!
Talking about his Indian engagement, Nick Jonas said to Jimmy Fallon that their Roka ceremony was a “confirmation from both sides of the family that they approve of the engagement”.
Further talking about his Indian engagement Nick stated, “We both left that ceremony so full of joy,”. When asked about the cultural change and how his parents Kevin and Denise Jonas must have adjusted to it, Nick said that they were “blown away by the love shared among all the people.”

Talking about the picture that broke the internet and revealed their engagement, Nick stated, “We had this beautiful ceremony and we felt so connected, our families all met, it was spiritual and then we put it on Instagram, we were like ‘Oh my God! It’s official.”

While he admitted that if the ceremony was held in his Jersey home it would have been different but given the fact how private and intimate the ceremony was in Mumbai— he was comfortable and satisfied.
Everyone on the set broke into giggles when Jimmy Fallon asked him if they have a favourite nickname and Nick Jonas revealed that Priyanka’s favourite name is ‘Prick’.
Recently, the newly engaged couple made appearance at the Ralph Lauren 50th Anniversary show during New York Fashion Week where they looked so much in love.
