Thanks to the full rewrite of SteemReply done a few days ago, I told you new features will now come out faster. So, here we go.
Manage your mentions
The inbox now has a toggle button that will allow you to switch between comments and mentions.
When clicking Mentions, the inbox will display a list of any posts or comments that mention your name. When selecting the post or comment, it will be displayed on the right pane.
This will allow you to quickly react the same way you are already used for comments.
The mention search process works in “lazy” mode, meaning it will return any post/comment that contains your name, even if not prefixed with an “at” sign (@). Therefore, if your username is @this, this might take some time before the loading of all mentions complete.
I plan to add a “strict mode” option in the next release to improve performances. Meantime, be patient with loading time when going to check your mentions.
Note: I know the markdown renderer can be a bit messy for some posts as I made it quick and dirty. A major improvement of this renderer will come with the next release of SteemReply.
