So I'm eagerly anticipating receiving the 2018 Steem Silver round as are many others in the #ssg-community...but thankfully @pit-bullion has provided a bit of relief for my latest episode of stackitus and my anticipation of some silver with the steem logo.
I noticed he did a limited edition hand pour of Steem silver hex pieces and when I say limited I'm pretty sure there were only about 40 of these poured. Someone correct me if I'm wrong about this number but the sale was very limited and I got #30 in the series.
So I was pretty excited when the mailman showed up with a package from Las Vegas yesterday. I knew what was in it. I took a break from laying new kitchen flooring to open and admire my latest acquisition. Here's the main thing I placed this order for--the steem silver hex.
Yep, #30 on that certificate of authenticity. Not many of these made and I got one!
I also decided to order this 2 oz silver anarchy piece. I'm a big fan of limited or even NO government (would be better than the monstrosity we have now) as living the the United States the past 10 years or so has become an increasing burden and I feel like I live in a police state and I'm trapped in a corporate hell. So this piece really caught my eye so I added it to my order as well.
All thoughts on tyrannical government aside...What's really exciting to me is that I've managed to pick up numerous silver pieces with the steem logo on it and I'll continue to collect anything minted that has something to do with steem. It's a budding collection of mine and some day I hope to have quite a few different types of silver steem pieces in my collection. I try to buy at least one of each that I'm aware of being for sale and I'll be adding 5 of the 2018 steem silver rounds to the collection in a number of weeks. I already placed my order.
The 2017 steem silver rounds became very valuable on the secondary market shortly after they were minted and having a full or near full collection of all the different types of steem silver rounds / pieces in existence is a goal of mine. Who knows what they could all be worth some day, especially due to the limited number of some of these pieces minted.

Here in several weeks I'll have even more silver steem in my collection and I'm gonna be showing off my 2018 steem silver rounds as soon as they arrive!
And once again, special thanks for @pit-bullion for pouring these hex pieces. They're a great addition to my collection and I'm glad I managed to get one of the very few that he created.
