This is new for me. Although I was around for the minting of the previous Steem Silver Round, I guess I was too much under the influence of the bear market to buy myself a nice limited edition Steem silver coin.
But this time I made the step and finally decided to order one.

There is also a time-limited 10% discount you can benefit of, if you buy now, as announced here:

After all, we do need even a symbolic hedge against the fiat, don't we? And silver is one of them. Combine that with the effect of a limited edition -- which might be even more limited if not all coins are sold this year -- I felt it was a great choice. But that is the way I think, given my situation and my previous choices and plans for the future. Yours might differ, and you are the only one to be sure what is best for you.
I might also get asked "What a heck is Steem?" if someone sees the coin soon enough. Not a big deal for mass adoption, but they might give it a shot if they see I was willing to buy a silver coin with that thing on it.
If they see it 5 or 10 years from now, they might say: That's so cool! You have a silver coin with Steem! How do I get one? And I could answer: Sorry, there are only a few hundred in the whole world. You'd have to find someone willing to sell, and be prepared to put something very valuable on the table for it.
Wouldn't that be a nice perspective?
