I thought today I would post another of my favorite coins. It is once again smaller than the typical ounce. Smaller even than the 1/2 ounce Lunars that I posted yesterday.
I remember when the Royal Canadian Mint introduced the $20 for $20 coins. I wasn't sure what to think about them when they first came out. I saw that the weight, sitting at right around a quarter of an ounce was lower than I normally would want in a coin...and saw that at the time ordering directly from the website was a three coin limit per household....there went the chance at a full ounce.
When they released the 1/2 ounce Timber Wolf coin in 2006 I was overjoyed. It had a great look and was sporting one of my favorite creations the mighty Canis Lupus. Fast forward to 2013 and the release of the $20 for $20 wolf pieces. I was sold. Household limit please.

Guess its high time I track down a fourth to hit that ounce mark with them.
Also, I have not been as smitten with the other Canadian wolf coins. Do any of you hold any? Are they worth it? I feel as if I am doing one of my animals a disservice in not having them, and silver is silver after all.
Thanks everyone!
