Many of us in the SSG community know it's been a pretty brutal last few years in the precious metals. I know we had a nice little rise in early 2016 (I believe that was the timeframe) but other than that it's been slopping down.
I try to pay more attention to sentiment indicators, as this sometimes helps me determine when a commodity is nearing a bottom. I was watching a fairly popular YouTube channel on silver and this following was posted (I won't post the person's YouTube handle)
"I hate silver. Once it goes up more than i paid for it, even 1 cent. I am going to sell that useless crap.
I'll never touch another PM again. I don't care if i have to eat dirt later, I'll never, ever waste my life stacking again, never again. Gold is an even worse scam. There are piles and piles of it. It's useless."
Ouch! Outside of the SSG, I think this sentiment is pretty common. Don't get me wrong, I get down on the prices too, but I try to remain positive. I think our day will come and sentiment leads me to believe we are closer to the bottom then the top. Of course, this is just my opinion.
Keep on stackin and Steemin on!
