Golden greetings and silver salutations! A quick question for you this evening, silver stackers. Is anyone collecting the Niue Czech Lion series? It just started last year and APMEX wants $53+ for one of the 2017 coins ! The original cost was about half of that last year. That price sounds like wishful thinking, except E-Bay has numerous sold listings in the $30s and $40s (with a couple of outlier sales in the $20s).
The mintage of the 2018 version doubled from last year (10,000 last year to 20,000). Even at 20,000, that is still pretty low. You can pick them up for just under $25 at AMPEX. However, they have Niue on them, which I usually try to avoid. For some reason they are marketed as both a Niue and Czech Republic coin. I still don't understand that.
