To the rescue.....

A few weeks back I contacted the Canada Pirate about a specific item, to see if he had any in his stack. He was out and about in usual Damus style and told me he take a look and get back to me.

The next day he sent me pictures of three of them and asked me which one I wanted. Of course the BADASS Pirate had em.

Before I reveal the items he sent. The reason for this specific item is a special Christmas present to my wife’s godfather.

I’ll make a very long story as short as I can. I’ve known my wife since 1993, both of her parents had already passed. Dad from diabetes complications and mom to a brain tumor. So her godfather is an extremely special person to her especially in the Greek culture. He is the one that walked her down the aisle when we got married.

Well when they all originally migrated from Greece they all went to Canada. Montreal is where they ended up. Most of them have been in the states since the early 80’s, but several still remain in Canada.

Her godfather Spiro has a tremendous collection of commemorative Canadian coins. I only found this out a few years back when he asked me to make him a display box for them. Well he’s also got a very extensive collection of Johnson Matthey bars as well all one ounce bars. So he’s a closet stacker. He started an Engelhard one ounce collection and this is why I reached out to our favorite pirate from Vancouver.

There is an Engelhard bar with a Canadian Maple Leaf on it. He does not have one and thought it would be a perfect gift. Of course the damus came through and sent additional goodies as well.
