What’s up Steemit, today I’m going to show y’all 3 different Burn out grains on silver by the king of wood himself @mr-vulcan
First piece is in oak, Vulcan’s favorite, and the piece produces a great gator finish
You can see the grain is somewhat tight and it also provides a bottom layer grain below the raised part.
The second bar is done in an exotic called Padauk wood, grain possibly gets a tad tighter with a nice grain behind it. I do believe these are second pours as well. Padauk I believe is very similar to the oak in a Burn out but has its differences.
This last piece is out of a wood called Purple Heart. This wood is extremely dense and the pattern that it gives is very tight. As you can see by the 3 piece that the denser the wood is, the tighter the grain it provides on the piece. The relief on the piece isn’t as high but you have a beautiful display of the grain under the relief. I poured a bar last night that has a beautiful equal portions of both I’ll show in the coming days. This post is a perfect example of why I love wood pours. With each type of wood you get something different. I love exotic woods, while they can be expensive, I love burning them to see what you get
As always I appreciate you, thanks for looking and I’ll see you tomorrow✌🏻
