Voting for this year's entries is now up and running but time is running out to cast your vote for your favourites.
Now from the quality of the entries submitted I'd be more than chuffed if I made it past the first cut, there truly are some amazing designs this year. Each and every one of them is unique and all have qualities I wish I had incorporated in to my submission. You're all incredibly talented.
REASONS TO VOTE FOR MY DESIGN
I feel that my design is a continuation of last years design. This sets us up nicely to create a "series" of coins and not just one-off individuals.
I've tried to incorporate the things that make the #steemsilverround a steem round, such as minnow/dolphin/whale, community, growth..... Otherwise its just a coin with the word steem on it.
My design allows for a lot of flexibility with the final design. The idea is more important than drawing I submitted.
My design allows for both a BU finish and a proof version(should we decide to go down that route).
OK, I'm sure there are more I'm just struggling to think of them at the moment as it's been a very long day in work....
I see a lot of the entries were drawn using a computer and that's perfectly fine. I unfortunately lack the desired skill and knowledge on how to pull this off, so you got stuck with my one time, low talent, off the cuff (if you have or ever had a 2yr old, you'll know the time constraints) effort.
Allow me to submit some extra digital images that could potentially be used as better examples of what I had in mind.
C'mon after seeing those you've got to admit the idea is starting to grow on you more?? They do look rather bad-ass.... Go on, we're all friends here, you can admit it!

Now with that fresh in your minds go over to the official voting post on @phelimint page and give my design a big upvote and help me get to the next round.
THANK YOU
