For anyone reading this and thinking about sending more than 1 parcel/package to the UK, I'm more than happy to act as a middle-man and forward on any subsequent packages and save you the cost of multiple p&p.
Mr "steemsilvergold" @raybrockman, was sending a few silver packages to some lucky ssg members here in the UK and for him I'm always happy to act as the first point of call here. There's not a lot I wouldn't do for him, he has been the backbone of ssg for such a long time and has always been there when I needed him, so I was happy to help out.
Being the major ass-kicker he is he sent me this 1oz Alabama bar to compensate me for my time and out of pocket expense. Now you can tell Ray till youre blue in the face that you don't want anything but he doesn't take no for an answer.
AND NOBODY SAYS NO TO SILVER FROM MR B
Now for anyone thinking of sending silver to these fine lands, you need to remember that the fine establishment of HER MAJESTY'S REVENUE and CUSTOMS (HMRC) love to stick import duty and tax.... We all love paying tax!!
To avoid paying these extortionate fees there are a few tricks to try.
By marking them as a "GIFT" HMRC allow a little leeway before whacking fees on top. So keep declared costs under $30 and try describing the contents in a way that won't raise any suspicion with HMRC....
@raybrockman knows the score 😉 Alabama paper weights!!! Genius 💯
