I slipped out of work today to go pick up my package from the @backyardbullion group buy. I had missed the postman yesterday and the antisipation was killing me, so I just had to go get it.
I had placed the order 2 weeks ago, after inviting myself into the group, but BYB was only too happy to help me out and let me join. We have been in regular contact and he sent me updates on the delivery eta. This has been a completely smooth and pain free transaction from start to finish and any UK buyers thinking of picking up some cheap silver should definitely get in touch with him.
Any way back to the good stuff...
I had placed an order for 30oz of any 1oz coins of thier choosing. This was the cheapest option and as I plan on melting some down, I wasn't too fussed at what I had.
So what turned up was one tube(20) of 2014 philharmonics and half a tube(10) of 2015 philharmonics. All seem in BU condition so I can't really complain since I only payed £14.40/oz delivered to my door.
Now the 2014 philharmonics have the lowest mintage of the series with a total mintage of just 4,643,508 so that's a bonus straight from the off.
So that's another 30oz to add to this year's #stackingoals of 100oz. If I keep this up I'll be shooting for 200oz before I know it. Fingers crossed with cryptos calming down, I'll start to spend my reserves of ltc and get me some more shiny!!
