For several years now I have participated in various undergraduate research opportunities.
Technically, my first experience was during my last year of high school, where I studied and later implemented Virtual Reality technology in order to educate students in ways the traditional classroom cannot offer.
During my first year at university I spearheaded an Introduction to the Internet of Things where I worked with a Wi-Fi module and various sensors to integrate the Internet with the environment in exciting ways. In addition to this project I was also required to produce a final project for my initial computer programming class. I chose to create a TensorFlow chatbot to solve the problem of Grammatical Error Correction, in order to help an English professor in teaching English grammar.
Yet, in my free time, a separate inclination always stole my attention, that of blockchain technology. With my experience in various emerging technologies I saw a vision of all of them interconnected, helping each-other in various ways.

The time for me to select a project for my year-long capstone course is approaching. I wish to create a convergence of these technologies in order to improve education, but I acknowledge my goals are ambitious.
