Wow!
It's only been one day since we officially launched. Just one day. And yet the positive reception has been overwhelming!
We appreciate those of you who have been patient while we work out the kinks. Luckily, I would say that the launch was 99% smooth sailing. Very few "issues". In fact, I wouldn't call them issues so much as they were helpful feedback and requests--all of which we tackled with passionate glee!
PAY WITH STEEM?
A few people have asked about STEEM as a payment method.
Here's how that works. If you really want to pay with Steem, then cool. You can do that, but it will have to be done manually (feel free to email support@steemstyle.io) and the order will need to be limited to 2 items or less.
We've already completed the Steem Keychain integration that will allow us to accept Steem payments via the website. However, we're holding off on making that live until we know that it makes sense. We're not eager to accept your valuable Steem just to dump it on the market in exchange for fiat (so that we can pay business expenses).
Instead, we opted to accept fiat dollars then use 20% of the profits to BUY Steem (and power it up). That way, we can curate steemstyle-related posts and upvote them more effectively.
Option A is to SELL Steem.
Option B is to BUY Steem.
We went with Option B. Even though the end result is probably the same, buying Steem sounds like more fun than selling it, haha. Option B makes us feel like we're contributing to the ecosystem instead of exploiting it.
Now that doesn't mean we don't intend to activate PAY WITH STEEM on the website. We still want to do that. We just have to work out the logistics. We'll make an announcement when we go live with Steem payments.
AVAILABLE PAYMENT OPTIONS
So here's the good news.
Yesterday, people were able to use the normal credit card functionality. However, it looks like someone attempted to use PayPal and there was a little glitch that prevented the transaction. That's now been fixed.
So for all you PayPal fans...go buy stuff with wild abandon.
While we were tinkering with the payment options, we decided to activate Amazon Pay too. So for anyone who wants to use their Amazon account for shipping data + payment methods...now you can! Yay!

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
Almost all the products we sell will be fulfilled and distributed from locations in the United States and Europe (whichever is closer to you).
We ship to all countries except for:
Cuba, Iran, Crimea, Syria, and North Korea.
If you live in one of those five countries...sorry. Otherwise, you're good to go!

You can thank @yabapmatt for this one. He wanted to buy a Splinterlands shirt for his kid. And so the official Steemstyle KIDS COLLECTION was born!
We have added new products for babies, toddlers, kids, and youth. More will be added every month!

A suggestion from @knircky made us realize that Tall folks were left out in the cold.
No worries. We got it handled. My wife @raynie quickly addressed the problem by adding numerous products specifically for those who look down on the rest of us.
