Here is my fun Monday morning question. :-)
How many of you have been wondering if climbing stairs two steps at a time saves you energy compare to one step at a time?
Sure the effort that you have to put into lifting your body twice the height upon each step is greater, but you need to repeat the process only half the time.
So, given a fixed given amount of time to climb up a number of steps, should you climb those two steps at a time or one step at a time to save energy?
Please support your answers with scientific arguments if possible.
