With excitement about the new IT movie ramping up, it's been revealed that Bill Skarsgard wasn't the only actor in the running to step into the role of Pennywise the clown.
The producers originally considered Tilda Swinton for the role. In fact she was the original choice for the role, but director Andres Muschietti revealed that she wasn't available during the time frame they were shooting the movie.
In an interview with JoBlo, Muschietti said: "She wasn't available. No, no I swear to god. She was not. We had a slot to shoot the movie and she wasn't available so she didn't even audition. But of course, we all thought about it."
