A Tiring Week
To say that the week that has been was very busy was an understatement. It was too hectic, deadlines here and there- I did not know where the time had gone! I did not even realize that it was Thursday already. Thanks God.
I looked forward to fetching the kids from their day care. Not even there, but I could already hear their non-stop stories for the day and of course their crazy questions.
"Mommy! I finished everything you asked me to do. Can I tell you what I read from my book?" Kuya, our homeschooled kid excitedly asked.
"Later Kuya, when we reach home," I answered.
So the three continued talking at the back seat. It was amusing to listen to their conversations. One time you would hear them arguing - "You're lying!"one would say. "No I'm not! I do not lie anymore!" the other one would answer. (Good to hear. Haha) Next moment they would discuss something they watched on tv or Kuya would teach Little Miss some vocabulary, science facts, math tricks, etc. The smallest? Little Monster, well he's an "echo". He repeats everything you say. π
We were at the U-turn slot when I heard Little Miss asked something to her Kuya.
"Is that a garbage truck?!"

"No. It is a SCHWING machine."

Kuya said it "matter of fact-ly", we burst in laughter inside the car.
"Sew... what?! Sewing machine?!" I looked at the truck. It was nowhere near a sewing machine.
One more look...

... it's a concrete pump, baby. Schwing branded truck, but definitely not a "sewing" machine. LOL
Nevertheless, it gave us all a good laugh. The next issue we had was to find the nearest petrol station to get to a restroom. Little Miss had to pee!
