The HardFork Film Series teaser trailer debut is just a little over a month away at SteemFest2 in Lisbon. This means one thing for the team...it’s CRUNCH TIME!
The trailer script is written, polished, and shooting will begin this weekend in New York City. We’re poised to deliver an exciting glimpse of the series and proud that the world debut will be right here on this platform! There will be a few fun surprises in store for those of you who make it to SteemFest2 as well.
Recap
This past week was full of great developments on a number of different fronts. Our series star @bakerchristopher published his engaging Steemit introduction providing us with a little of his own, incredible, backstory. We’re so excited to see how he uses his talent and experience to develop our protagonist, Vangelis Misham.
We also announced the addition of producer and actor Naomi Brockwell (@skycorridors) to the team. We’re thrilled to be working with Naomi and are confident that she'll add great value to the project!
Our derivative content developers have been hard at work crafting some impressive content based on the film series.
@japhofin8or posted his short story Through A Lens - A HardFork Realization and an incredibly interesting post about his vision of the robots that patrol the CFS entitled HardFork Series - BOTS Models Completed. @japhofin8or is showcasing great talent and we appreciate his hard work and tremendous enthusiasm.
@opheliafu has created a CFS propaganda poster that is truly a work of art. We’ll be showcasing her work in a post from the HardFork Film Series account next week. The technique Ophelia used is a modern take on the Cold War era Stasi (East German) propaganda posters from the 1950’s and we can’t wait to share this with you.
Last but definitely not least, we’d like to introduce Clarise, an artificially intelligent robot that recently found a new home with Director @dougkarr. She’s kept safely behind a locked door at night (because she seems a little creepy after dark.) Clarise will be undergoing some slight modifications to change her appearance. Once completed, she will have her big screen debut in our trailer as a deadly CFS Overwatcher Bot. Isn’t she a stunner?
What Are Our Goals for this Week?
- Shoot the initial scenes of the trailer.
- Release a short story debuting our protagonist (and @ophelia’s poster)
- Wrap up the casting process for the film’s teaser trailer.
- Continue our outreach efforts to educate people about our project.
