The true meaning of life is understood when death is near. He understood when it was too late. Counting his last breaths, he was thinking about the past. The man who was thinking of changing the world a few days ago was going to leave the world today. His heart was filled with emotions. He was living 100 times in a minute. Happiness, grief, and disappointment caused a stir in his mind. And he was stepping towards death. He was struggling to keep his eyes open just to see his family one more time. The only thing he knew that it was his last day in this world, but there was a grin on his face.
His family was his world. His happiness was in the happiness of the family, and his grief was in the family's grief. Today his family stood beside him, but today there was a change in their face. The only thing he wanted to see a grim in his child's face, but the only thing he found was sadness in their faces. His body was giving up, but his heart said let me live one more time. It was not that he was afraid of death rather he was afraid because he will never see his family again.
The room in which he lived was feeling ignorant today. Only then he felt a familiar hand on his hand holding tightly. And the hand was of his best friend. His companion, his best friend in the world with whom he used to share his thoughts. Both of them used to walk in the night talking about life on the lonely road of the village. He was pleased after finding his best friend beside him on the last day of his life. He wanted to talk with him as well as his family, but his tongue betrayed him.
His grandson and granddaughter were his cutest doll for him. He had a dream of dancing on his grandchild's marriage, but it was breaking down slowly. He was old, but his passion was not less than a young man. Travelling was his hobby. He traveled many places with his own earning, but he wanted to visit Saudi Arabia once in his life with his own earning. But it was expensive for a farmer. He saved money for three years and decided to visit Saudi Arabia, but Cancer stopped him and dragged him to the door of death.
That evening the sun also did not want to leave him. The birds were also singing to make him sleep for the last time. The moon was also yearning to see him for the last time. His loved ones had filled the patio of his house. He wanted to say thanks to them for coming in his farewell but he couldn't. He had seen many occasions in his life, but it was the one where he was unhappy.
At last moment he was thinking about the things which he shouldn't have done and the things left to do. And he remembered all the happy moments of his life. He saw all the faces of his family member as much as he can for the last time. He knew that the end was near, but his heart once again said one minute more for the last time. He tried, but no word came out of his mouth. After losing the battle, he closed his eyes and prayed to the God to look after his family. Seeing him going away every heart was shattered. Everybody denied the cruel reality of life. We wanted not to let him go, but it was not in our hand.
Eventually, his face started becoming pale. At the last moment of his life, he understood the true meaning of life. That last five minutes taught him the best lesson of his life. At the time of his last breath, his ears also refused to work slowly. At last, he hugged his true friend death. The last thing he listened was the crying sound of his beloved family. But he was helpless he went too far from this world.
