Here is a story of two angels.
They traveling from last two days and now they need some rest for further traveling so they decide to stay in a house. They see a house of wealthy family. So they knocked the door and ask to spend a night in there house.
The family was so rude and they refused them to stay in there guest room. But instead of guest room they allowed them to stay in cold basement. So the angels made their beds on cold hard floor. At that time the older angel saw a hole in a wall. She repaired it. The younger angel asked her why you repaired it for them, she replied “Things are not always what they seem”.
So at the morning they again continued to their destination. After the day there is again night came and they want to rest so they came to a poor farmer house and ask for stay. They welcome them happily.
The farmer and her wife were so hospitable, they give them there beds to sleep and little food for eat.
The next morning, they saw the farmer and her wife in tears. Because their only cow, whose milk had been their income, lay dead in the field.
The younger angel asked the older one,
“How you have let this happen with them? The first family have everything and you help them, and they have little but sharing everything and you let the cow die”.
She replied,
“ Things are not always what they seem”. “I repaired a hole in the wall because I noticed there was a gold stored behind that wall so I fill the hole that they do not see it. And for the farmer, the angel of death came for his wife. I gave him cow instead of his wife”.
Sometimes that is exactly what happens when things don’t turn out the way they should. If you have faith, you just need to trust that every outcome is always to your advantage. You might not know it until some time later…
Should you find it hard to get to sleep tonight,
remember the homeless family who has no bed to lie in.
Should you have a bad day at work,
think of the man who has been out of work for many months struggling to feed his family.
