Talking about going the above and beyond ! Leaving Beijing, I asked for a car service to pick me up from dinner with my luggage in the car, but the Ritz Carlton hotel could not help. Alex - who was handling my check out - decided to take matters jnto his own hands, found a car and went to meet me at the restaurant ‘you might not find the driver so I will just wait downstairs’ - after his shift was over. Not impressed with Ritz’ ability to organize basic things like transportation but what an amazing ability to hire top talent! Hands down the most amazing thing I have experienced after 15-20 years living a significant part of my life in hotels.
