When I was a kid I had the wackiest music on my pink Sony MP3. If I knew where the darn thing was I'd list off all my random-ass songs, but I don't think that would be as interesting. If you want to hear me write about music AH MAN I could go off, but my playlist was just a soppy Greenday, My Chem, and popular 90's hits mix of confusion. I was that 11 year old that would hide in her backyard to use her cheap polka-dotted makeup kit from Claires, and came back in the house to put her magenta hair pieces in without letting mom see her face. The woman hated when I left the house wearing makeup , and THANK GD cause it was baaaaaaad.
I've pulled off a lot of different looks. Not off shelves unfortunately. Sometimes I look back at my Instagram in 2014 and take a lighter to my already very flammable ego. I didn't really know how to dress myself in cloths that matched till grade 11. I woke up one day and my conscience must have spoke to me and said, "Penny.. this needs to stop".
I blocked most of my elementary school experience/es out of my brain so I don't really remember what I used to wear back then I just know that I wore my pajamas once. Grade 8 was by far my favorite year but all I would wear was my gigantic collection of Aeropostale shirts and sweaters, and this long jean skirt. The funny thing about that skirt is it was always stiff since my mom has this weird thing about not using fabric softener so I could literally knock on my skirt and it would sound like wood.
When I grew older my style grew older too. I cut off all my hair and dyed it green. Man, did that ever piss people off. From then on I keep going back and forth from edgy-trashlord emo bish, to your friendly neighborhood hipster chick. Right now and for a hawt minute I've been doing this hipster thang, and I am the happiest and saddest human I've ever been, and I wouldn't want it any other way :)
