Good afternoon, friends of Hive!
Today I want to talk to you about a subject that touches everyone... Sometimes we're too shy or taboo to touch on a word that is becoming very close to everyone's heart - cancer. Invariably everyone knows someone who has suffered or been affected by the disease that I consider to be the greatest challenge of this century. Just yesterday, after having breakfast with the pardinus and a few other friends, I received a call from a friend who had been diagnosed with ovarian cancer, with peritoneal carcinomatosis. We're surprised by this news every day. Unfortunately, I've already lost some friends and family to this disease. But we must never give up...
And so, today, after my appointment with the dentist, and as I got home just in time to get everything ready for work at 2pm, I did exactly what my inner voice told me to do!!! Even that I didn't had time to hit gym, the only thing that I need is time!
Everyone who knows me well knows that I'm a f****** lazy bastard procrastinator, but my stubborn streak goes both ways! I decided that relative "laziness" wasn't going to let me take another day off the SU2C Squats Challenge! And I started today!
Even though yesterday's 21-kilometre walk left me with a feeling of having done my duty, I couldn't help but respond to the challenge that had been launched by @pardinus , and just like @lut-studio and @dbooster pointed out... Once you said it... you have to make it! Ahahah
It all starts with an aromatic and long black coffee, without sugar of course.... Is there "life" before coffee? Ahahah I don't think so... It's one of the vices I'm trying to cut down on, but today had to be the perfect stimulus to roll up my sleeves... or rather roll up my trousers! Ahahaha







Having laid out the mat I usually use when I go camping, I changed into the trainers I wear at the gym and started doing squats... I only stopped at (the round number) 150! And to make up for my late start, on the 6th... (I'm going to have to catch up so I don't let the @livinguktaiwan @pardinus and @dbooster gain too much terrain...π), I even completed it with some 1.5 min planks... because the abdominal area was and still is one of my weak points... "Racing towards" summer goals 2024? Of course! LOL Who doesn't wanna a six pack? πΊπ
I hope that over the course of the month I'll manage to reach an interesting number of squats!
