Greetings, friends
Our granddaughter Alice visits us in the summer. This year, her parents brought her at the end of May, and I will take her North on August 27. But she doesn't live in my house, but with another grandparent, because that grandmother is already retired, and we can devote ourselves to our granddaughter only on Saturday and Sunday. That's why we entertained our granddaughter yesterday and today. Yesterday she was at the beach with her grandmother, and today we went to Kirov. We killed two birds with one stone: we entertained our granddaughter and took our youngest daughter away from work.
My daughter decided to work during the school holidays and earn money.
We drove to the city pond next to the Circus. Last year, this place underwent a major renovation, and now walking has become even better.
My wife suggested that we go into the Diorama and play an interesting, strange game there, which is difficult to describe. The goal of the game is to simply launch the ball into the wooden mazes and look at it. It was quite fun, and my granddaughter was happy with this game.
I wanted to show a small video, but I can't insert it.
I was in a Diorama when I was 11 years old. That was 45 years ago. My wife has never been here. She offered to see the museum exhibits and what this building was built for - a painting dedicated to the formation of Soviet Power in Vyatka.
My granddaughter asked me - Why such a big pipe? I explained to her that it was a gramophone and it was such a speaker.
This cash register lifted my mood to the skies. It was like I was immersed in my childhood.
My mom worked in the cafeteria, and I often went there after school. Sometimes I did my homework there, helped make cookies, cutlets, cakes. But sometimes I played with the cash register. It wasn't as pretty, but the principle was the same - press the buttons and turn the knob on the side of the machine to get the receipt.
This device is more than 2 times older than me. In those days, everything was made to be a decoration. This is a real rarity.
Wall-mounted washbasin.
Yes, only people with financial means could afford to have such a washbasin at home. My ancestors were simple peasants; they didn't have such things at home.
My granddaughter was interested in this phone. I explained to her why these two cups are on the phone - calls.
In general, Alice looked at all the objects in the museum with great interest. This museum was created back in Soviet times, and almost all the exhibits pointed to life in Vyatka before 1917; only a small stand was dedicated to the Bolsheviks.
Wait, there were photos of a woman who participated in World War I on the stand, and she had a lot of medals on her chest. And there was a photo of the monument that the villagers erected to her in 2016. So the expositions are updated. I want to say that I do not know of a single museum in Russia dedicated to the World War of 1914-1918.
The museum supervisor allowed us to play with the bells. Alice was very happy about it.
This is the main museum exhibit, for which this building was built in 1977. The museum building was built in 1 year. The painting was painted by Leningrad artists for 3 years. In terms of performance and content, this 280-square-meter three-dimensional canvas is recognized as one of the best in Russia.
The picture shows the intersection of the streets, which are now called Lenin and Spasskaya. The yellow building now houses a theater for young people. By the way, my wife and daughter, and I are going to the play there on September 20th. We love going to this particular theater.
It's good to put your head on your grandmother's chest... Softly.
By the way, the girl who runs the museum told us about the painting in a very interesting way. For example, the sleigh in the background is only a third of the real objects, and the rest is painted. The shaft to the horse is real.
We left the Museum and got into the heat again. Today was the hottest day of this summer - +31 degrees Celsius.
Alice wanted to drink. We sat down at a table in a nearby food street. Then Alice asked me to jump on the trampoline. We still had about half an hour before the end of our daughter's working day. We haven't forgotten that we need to take her home.
The poplars began to shed their leaves from the heat. We walk along the path, and the yellow dry leaves rustle under our feet, as if autumn has begun.
Well, that day is behind us. We ended it with a walk together.
I've already taken my granddaughter to the other grandparents until next Friday, and my wife and daughter have gone to bed. I'm going to finish my article now and go to bed too. Wake up tomorrow at 4:45 and I'll go to the office. A new work week will begin.
