Do you remember the last moment of change in your life? What did you feel? What do you feel today?
A moment of your life in which you know that everything you knew, everything that inspired you, everything you experienced, you will leave behind. The feeling of leaving behind a job that blocked you, a life you had not chosen, or sometimes even, the feeling of leaving behind those you love, those who inspired you.
There are certain points of inflection in our lives, moments that go beyond a simple change, moments in which we feel we must take a necessary step to move forward. And the beautiful thing is that when those moments of inflection arrive, although we believe that we will be afraid when they arrive, when they appear in front of us we receive them with serenity, as if we knew that they were going to arrive. Steps forward, jumps to the void. And as Alan Moore said, anything of value in our lives always begins with a leap into the void where the fear of falling and the desire to succeed, this time and only this time, are left aside. A leap into the pure emptiness, without fear, without desire.
Once someone told me that our life is like a book, and that those changes are simply the end of the chapter, nothing will go away. And everything you lived until then will become part of an eternal memory, part of your history, part of your life.
