Hello Hivers!
With the whole world on standby due to the COVID-19 Pandemic Supercross/ Motocross riders and fans are patiently waiting for that one glimmer of hope to surface. That time, possibly could have arrived! PulpMX Steve Matthes has indicated that Feld Entertainment are looking to resume the incomplete 2020 Monster Energy Supercross Series in May. That would mean trying to squeeze in the last seven rounds of the championship before the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross series kicks off at the end of June.

"According to some teams, new tentative plan is for SX to start mid-May, end early June, all 7 races in Glendale, AZ. Key word: Tentative."
It has been confirmed with a few teams that this is the plan but as you can imagine is tentative and in it's early stages right now with nobody really knowing when restrictions will be eased.
The plan is for the host of this years fourth round, Statefarm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona will be the venue for all of the remaining rounds. With one venue being the host for the seven races i would think that the track configuration would be changed for each race but plans are unclear at the moment.
Feld's Dave Prater had previously stated that a September timeframe would be the target but if they can pull this off then it certainly would ease the problems the series would face later in the calendar. The stadiums are currently free of bookings which would not be the case in September if things start to return to normal. It would also mean that the 2020 Monster Energy Supercross Series would be done and dusted before the start of the Outdoors which again leaves less worries for riders towards the latter end of the Motocross season to worry about.
All I can say is please just bring back Supercross haha!
