This day was pretty awesome. Water temp at 77 degrees, waves peaked at a massive 1-2 feet, and we couldn't have been happier about it. The crystal clear water made things all the better for performing under water fin-swimming techniques. These techniques combined with bodysurfing allow the swimmer to get in to the pocket of the wave, and stay in the wave. Many people see the small surf as boring, and uneventful, but for Mark and I, it's the opposite! This means clearer water, less people, and super fun conditions! As a true water-man/woman, your skills should be strong in all conditions. These mini waves are a great training tool for preparing for larger surf. Training in only large waves cuts the dynamic ability of any water athlete. Besides, who wants to stay home and wait for big surf?
